Union Insurance Company was established in 1998 with a Paid up Capital of AED 80 million (Eight million shares of Dhs. 10.- each ), as the national company for the Emirate of Ajman to accommodate the needs of the region and to provide the expertise in risk management and financial services. The shareholders approved the increase in Share Capital to AED 330,939,180
